Aldershot
Aldershot is about 7km north of Maryborough CBD and 28 km from the centre of Hervey Bay. It is presently facing the prospect of an open-cut coalmine 3 kilometres from the township.
The township was included in the federal electorate of Wide Bay at the last redistribution in December 2009.
