Goomboorian is a small agricultural community located 15 minutes from Gympie on the Tin Can Bay Road. The primary crops grown here include pineapple, beans, tomatoes, citrus fruit and macadamia nuts.

There is a country market held in Goomboorian 1st Sunday of each month
