The Greens candidate for Wide Bay, Jim McDonald, and members of the Campaign Committee celebrated National Sorry Day on a bridge on Eumundi-Kenilworth Road at Browns Road Belli Park. Sorry Day is, unfortunately, probably best remembered by most Australians only for when more than 250,000 people walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 2000. The bridge walks represent an opportunity to acknowledge that there is still unfinished business for the stolen generations. See the National Sorry Day Committee.
